General Meeting Notes

Meeting called to order :7:35 pm

 

No new guests

 

Last months minutes not posted on the web-site yet.

 

Treasury Report:  Current balance  $39,082

                             Outstanding deposits  $9,340

                             Most of balance is for the Miami Trip

                             Net Balance $6,531

                             Outstanding debt to Susan G. Komen - $500.00

 

Tailgate party – 117 tickets sold

            $3,365 total receipts

            Net profit - $1,656.00

 

If you would like a copy of the financial report give Jim Finck your name and he would be happy to provide a copy.

 

Council Report – None

 

Membership:  107 Members

 

Website: A Bulletin Board has been added to the website.  This will be a place where notices for babies, get well etc. can be posted.

 

Publicity –Karen Albert will chair committee.  Member will be Paul McMullen and Terri Schaefer

 

Historian – No Report

 

Shirts – An order will be placed next week for RR73 shirts.  You can access the order form on line.

 

X-Mas Party – Karen Albert will chair the party. Committee will be Nancy Harris and Sandy Braun   Date will be December 1, 2007.  8:00 pm til

Members are asked to bring a bottle for the wagon of cheer as their admission to the party. $10.00 for guests.   If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a male/female gift.

 

Breast Cancer Walk- there are currently 24 people signed up to walk. $1.910 have been pledged. 

 

Card Game – Texas Holdem  Date November 10, 2007 at 5 pm.

                        $50 for members

                        $55 for non-members

                        Motion to book the hall $300 – Debbie Webber

Board of Directors Report –

o       Andrew Morrisey Fund -The board would like to send a $500 donation to the Andrew Morrissey fund.  The child is 8 months old and needs a Kidney/Liver transplant.  Funds will help defray the cost.  Motion to spend the money – Nancy Harris

                                          Second Motion – Mike Weaver

                                          Motion Carried

 

o       Golf Tournament fundraiser held by Carson Creekside was attended by Mike Weaver, Kenny Sinnott, Mark Yost Sr and Mark Yost Jr.

      The team drank 37 beers and a bottle of rum, broke a club and still scored

      In the middle of the pack. 

 

o       Council Bull Roast – Date February 23, 2007

      Patapsco arena Roost will supply a bus if we have 30 tickets sold.

 

Bull Roast – Tickets are being printed

                      $40 per person

                     Band  No Pet for Noah has been booked

 

Motion by Andrea Yost to give a $100 donation to Kim the bartender for her hard work during the Tailgate party.  This will compensate for tips during our event.  The motion was second by Terri Schaefer.

                                    Motion carried.
