Ocean City Convention Discussion |
Everyone had a great time. We were all pleased that the Roost once again dominated the competition bringing home 5 trophies (4 1st places, 1 2nd place). Competition was tough in the parade float contest. People commented that the food ran out (both nights) and Mark Yost noted that there are already plans to correct the issue of people leaving the food area with plates full of food (likely being used to feed non-registered attendees). There were suggestions that there be some non-athletic activities on Thursday or Friday (beer pong was one idea). Mark Yost said that there would need to be people willing to organize and we could have more activities. Everyone agreed that the Float Committee did a GREAT job and they received a round of applause from the roost. There was discussion about the Scavenger Hunt. Michelle Arnold noted that the Women's volleyball team has won 1st place 4 consecutive years. Mark Yost made a special presentation to Laura Webber and Mike Weaver for being the two Roost members that donated the most $ to the dunk tank when he was in the tank. Lenny and Mark also noted that it was important to get has for the generator and not to misplace the gas can. |
