Meeting called to order at 7:15 pm

Pledge of allegiance:  Led by Lenny Banack, Jr.

Wellness:  No report

Council Report:  The Council’s Annual Bull Roast will be held February 26^th at the Patapsco Arena.  More information about this event will be forthcoming.  We have been given raffle tickets for their wagon of cheer to sell.  As in years’ past, we will also have 20 tickets to the event.

Board of Directors Meeting:  No report

Treasurer’s Report:  We currently have a working balance of $11,569.60.  There are no outstanding invoices as of this evening.

Committee Reports

Membership:  We have 92 paid members and one pending application.  Welcome to new members Amanda Weaver and Jessica Taylorson.

Entertainment:

 Saturday, October 16h – Bus trip to Atlantic City.  There are 10 seats left on the bus.  The casino is Resorts.  The cost is $31.00 per person with $15.00 back in cash.  BYOB for the bus.  If you are interested please see Bridgette this evening.

Bridgette is also looking into a Day Trip to New York on Saturday, December 4^th.  The cost would be about $25.00 per person.  The game on that Sunday is a night game against the Steelers, so you will be able to sleep in J.

Old Business

Members Only Crab Feast:   It was a very enjoyable day for the 50 folks who attended our 3^rd annual members crab feast.  The crabs were excellent.  The final cost to the roost was $190.00.

Tailgate Party:  Took in $1,350 in ticket sales; with costs of $912.00 yielding a net profit of $438.00.

The Susan G. Komen Walk:  Another great turnout for our group.  We had 36 registered and 26 riding the bus to Hunt Valley.   Together we raised $4,645.00 for the cause.  We all had a great time afterwards; with Lenny serving lunch and hanging out to watch that awesome win against the Steelers.

Shrimp Feast:  is this Saturday, October 9^th at the UAW Hall on Old Ham St.  Al needs to give a head count to the hall tomorrow so if you are interested in getting a ticket, please see Al this evening.  Remember, members get $5.00 back at the door with your membership card.

Members Contest:  We have lots of winners in the first few weeks.  Congratulations to the winners of week 1:  Karen Albert, Bob Aupperley, Ozzy Velaborga and Debbie Webber.  They will each get a $10.00 gift certificate to Laidback Lenny’s.  Also, congrats to the winners of week 4:  Paul McMullen, Al Pietras, PJ Rickter and Mark Yost.  They will split the prize of $45.00 and receive gift certificates for $11.25 each.

New Business

Road Trip Tailgate Party – We are looking to tailgate with some folks that are going on the trip with us and are traveling by RV.  More information will be provided at the November meeting along with a sign-up sheet for those interested.  Also, the tickets to the game will be given out at the November meeting.

Member Debbie Kale has the 2011 calendars from Fidos for Freedom for a cost of $10.00.  Please support her by purchasing a calendar.   Hazelnut is pictured in the June layout.

The Marian House Walk is this Saturday, October 9^th.  Karen Albert and her team will be participating in this event.  RR 73 has donated $250.00 and is asking that members please support Karen in her efforts to raise money for this cause.
