Shrimp Feast

We made a total of $2907.50 less the $500 deposit for the hall for next year.  Final decision whether to hold the shrimp feast again next year will be made by the Board at a meeting after the general meeting.

Social Events/ Other Events

The Komen walk was help 10/18 - it was cold and wet.  We had 14 walkers.  We raised $3242. 

December 12 will be the Christmas party. Members interested in being on the planning committee should see Lenny after the meeting.  Party will start around 7.   Bottle of liquor for the wheel barrow of cheer is the price of admission for the party.

Roost is considering helping a family for Thanksgiving or Christmas. 

Other Business

The Roost is looking for a shed to keep at Lenny's to store our stuff.  20 ft. container.  Mike Weaver has one for $500 (regularly $2400).  If you know of any for sale, let Lenny know.

Parade - decision for float or no float will be discussed by the Board tonight.  Lenny bought the Buomi temple float trailer (25 ft triple axle) for sale for $100.

Bull Roast will be 3/6.  It will be a different weekend then the fishing club bull roast which should improve sales. 

Miss Wilma Webber sends care packages to the troops.  Connelly has been paying for shipping, She put together a basket that is being raffled off. The contents of the basket are worth over $2,000 Proceeds will support her effort to send more packages.  Chances are $1.  Drawing will be 12/17/09.  Debbie will have more tickets at the December meeting and the Christmas party. 

Bridgett has information about a trip to Vegas for Super bowl weekend for anyone interested.
