Treasurer’s Report: Attached copy with original minutes.
Council Report:
1. Everyone is invited (and Ravens Roost Members) to the Council Christmas Party, on Friday, December 15, 2006, 7:30 p.m. till …. Music by a DJ. Secret Santa, all are asked to bring a gift marked with a blue bow for males, pink bow for females. Tickets are $15.00 each.
2. Ravens Roost 87 in Severna Park has folded.
3. For Polar Plungers: white heavy cotton robe is available with “Raven Roost 00” Stitched on the back. $50.00 if ordered prior to 12-1-06. See Mark for order form.
4. Council Bull roast: Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 7:00 p.m.--12:00 a.m. Tickets are $35.00. Music by Gene Vincent. Event is at the Patapsco Arena. 21 and over only. Catering by Baltimore Caterers, Inc. If interested Mark has 40 tickets on hold. Tickets must be turned in by the January meeting. Show your Ravens Roost membership card and get $5.00 back.
5. Daryl Despeaux will be doing the Super Plunge, and MUST raise at least $10,000.00 to qualify. RR50 pledged $500.00 to get the ball rolling.
6. States Attorney has been assigned to the theft case; expect trial next year.
7. Celebrity Events is offering dinners with Bart Scott and mystery Raven guests on 11-3, 11-6, 11-13, 11-20 and 11-27. Cost is $150.00 per ticket, including dinner and autographed stuff. Tables are also being sold, 10 to a table. If interested see Mark, he has tickets available for $75.00 each.
8. The Purple Paradise Holiday Bash is December 14, 2006 at Merrit’s Downtown Athletic Club, 7-11 p.m. Sponsor package is $1,000.00, and includes 10 tickets to Sponsor’s Lounge, etc. with access to Ravens players. If you volunteer to work the event for the Council, you get in free. Contact Ed Young for a schedule, etc. To reserve a sponsor package, call Katie Mitchell at 410-789-6677 ext. 113. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maryland.
Guest Introduction: Tom Kelly just returned from Iraq and will be leaving again on November 13, 2006. Tom presented the Roost with a flag that has been with him throughout his deployment. Tom was given a RR73 shirt.
Nancy will be leaving for Iraq on November 30, 2006. The Roost gave Nancy a RR73 banner to take with her. Donations were also given to Nancy to take with her for the troops.
New Members: Joe Brown (our 1st website member), Kimberly and Terry Caldwell.
Vice President‘s Report: The date for our 2008 bull roast is March 1, 2008.
Committee Reports:
Membership: 92 paid members.

· Winners for the months of September and October from the weekly contest are: Nancy Roberts, Frank Schaefer, Debbie Adle, Sue Harper, John Abbott and Teri Schaefer.
Wellness: Shelly is back!
Bull Roast: Saturday, March 3, 2007. Tickets are in. Ticket price is $40.00 with a $5.00 rebate back to all members. All money is due in February. For tickets see Al. A sign up sheet for the Bull roast will be available in January and February, please sign up to help. Tickets are also available for the Basket of Cheer, see Mike Weaver.
Shrimp Feast: August 18, 2007. Sandra will chair this event. More information to follow.
Away Trip: Tennessee Road Trip, Friday, November 10, 2006. Flight leaves BWI 7:30 a.m. and arrives in Nashville at 8:25 a.m. (their time.) For those members who are going on the trip please See Lenny for your Itinerary.
Publicity: A chairperson is needed. Please see Mark if interested.
Convention/Parade: Start thinking about our 2007 float. More information to follow.
Donations Report: It was voted and approved at the October, 2006 BOD meeting to:
1. Donate $500.00 for purchase of items for our Troops overseas. Nancy will personally deliver items during her tour of duty.
2. Donate $500.00 to Daryl Despeaux’s SUPER PLUNGE effort for Special Olympics Maryland.
3. Donate $500.00 to RR73 Polar Plunge team, to benefit Special Olympics Maryland.
4. Donate $300.00 to Shop with a Cop program, to sponsor three recipients for Christmas shopping.
Events:
Breast Cancer Walk: A big thank you goes out to all! October 21, 2006. We had 34 participants. Janet Depner was our Cancer Survivor walker. Total: 5,186.00

· Entertainment:
1. Atlantic City Day Trip: Good time and good trip.
2. Xmas Party: Saturday, December 9, 2006. Admission will be a donated bottle of cheer. There will be more information to follow.
3. Pub Crawl: THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO OUR ROOST MEMBERS. Friday, January 12, 2007. More information to follow.
4. Lady Terps: Shirley will find out about tickets/dates etc. more information to come.
There was no drawing for the 50/50.
OUR MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING MINUTES ARE NOW POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE.
Our next General Meeting will be held on December 4, 2006 at 7:30.
