General Meeting Notes

May 5, 2008

Meeting called to order:        7:35 pm

Membership:              If you haven’t renewed your membership and would like to, please complete the form and pay dues at the next meeting.  $25 for single or $40 for couple

Minutes:                     April minutes were not posted.  To follow shortly.

Treasury Report:      

                                    If you would like a copy of the financial report give Jim Finck your name and he would be happy to provide a copy.

Council Report:          None

Website:                     A Bulletin Board has been added to the website.  This will be a place where notices for babies, get well, etc. can be posted.

Publicity:                     The 2^nd edition of the newsletter was sent out with articles and fan spotlights.

Convention:                Parade meetings currently taking place Wednesdays at 6:00 pm.  Construction of float underway; anyone interested in helping is welcome.

                                    Last meeting to be held May 21^st for parade, please try to attend if you are walking.

Historian:                   No Report

Shirts:                         Shirts are in. Contact Terri Schaefer at (410) 682-4245 or at clothing@ravensroost73.com

Wellness:                    Everyone is well.

Entertainment:           Bowling was won by Roost 73! And a great time was had by all.

                                    Pub Crawl May 9^th; $10 deposit for bus will be returned the night of crawl. Shirts available at ~$8.  Non-members may come for $15.  Visiting 4 bars; bus leaves at 6:30 pm.

                                    Atlantic City Trip June 28^th; $25 per person with $15 back to play.  Bring your own beer.

                                    July event to be planned.

                                    Sept 14^th  Crab Feast for members, only $10.

Susan G. Komen        Sign up for breast cancer walk on Oct 19^th.  Trying to sign 35 members and raise $6000 for breast cancer research and treatment.  Let’s make this the best year yet!

Season Ticket Raffle:  See Deb Webber for tickets.  Need all tickets in by August 4^th meeting.

Shrimp Feast:             October 11, 2008; Tickets available. $40 per person. Great food and FOG playing (What more could you want?).  Contact Sandra Braun for tickets shrimpfeast@ravensroost73.com
